Congratulations to Rich and Anna

My former colleague, travel buddy and fellow nerd, Rich Schwarz, wed his bride Anna this October. I flew to Charlotte, NC to attend the festivities and also enjoy a little of “the South” during NASCAR weekend. The wedding was in Concord, on race day, and downtown Charlotte was hopping each night.

Mike Sparr is getting married

For anyone who I haven’t spoken with in a while, I just thought I would share the fact that I’m getting married early summer 2006 to my fiancĂ©e, Jamie. We met in August 2004 at my friend’s wedding and have been putting up with each other :-) since.

What is a Web Service?

Web services are a standardized way for two computer systems to communicate leveraging XML (Extensible Markup Language) and Internet communications protocols. Web services allow systems to send and receive formatted messages despite their location, software platform or even programming language.
