For anyone who I haven’t spoken with in a while, I just thought I would share the fact that I’m getting married early summer 2006 to my fiancée, Jamie. We met in August 2004 at my friend’s wedding and have been putting up with each other since.

Jamie and I vacationed in Cozumel, MX in June along with her family while her brother Jason and his girlfriend, Janiece, got married. The pressure was on thereafter, let me tell ya - but I knew Jamie was “the one” after only a few months dating.

We celebrated our 1-year anniversary in San Francisco given I surprised her with a trip - not telling her until hours before we left. A month later, I disclosed my marriage plans with friends during Griz Football Homecoming weekend and the next night, after a nice dinner, I popped the question. The rest is history.

Of course I didn’t propose after the meal, in the elegant setting of this French bistro, Pearl, I opted to do it while driving home, Jamie sitting shotgun. A couple weeks later, after having a custom ring made, I did drop to a knee in our living room and formally propose. We are to be wed late June 2006.
