Vegas - Party at the Palms

Some highlights of our last “set it off” event, partying at The Palms at a club called Rain. We had a VIP host walk us past the lines and got us in the club; had a few drinks and then I somehow convinced the hosts they needed to suck up to us. Soon they were actually fighting over who got to service our crew, which grew to include some other Montana buddies who I found were in town.

Darin, Dan and myself have no recollection of the end of the night or how we got back to our hotel, but all three of us missed our flights that next day. :( Here are a couple photos inside:

The pyrotechnics and sound system was amazing. The middle dance floor was surrounded by a “moat” and seating around that for an outer mingling area, then like a stadium, levels of VIP booths and private rooms.

These are the only photos I could find within, but we are still trying to figure out if Darin took photos or not, or some of the other Montana guys there. The evening started out with some Montana crew at Margueritaville and one guy was an actor and contracted by Margueritaville for their act. As such, we were treated very well and those darn Corona beers with shots of tequilla in them snuck up on us. By the time we reached Rain, the party had definitely already started.

Out of our crew, Darin and Mike (another one) were the only single guys so Dan and I were on a mission to round up some girls to come have a few drinks back at our booth. The VIP host was trying the same thing but it seemed to be couples night so poor Darin and Mike had to simply enjoy the company of us nerds.

Dancing fever.

Mr. Big Shot - yeah right :)
I don’t know who had my camera, but I assume it was Dan.
