First I’d like to send a birthday “shout out” to my buddy Jamy Frost. He just turned the big 3-0 today so let’s all cheer! My day is coming in exactly 2 months (March 21) so I cannot tease him too much longer. Brandon is next though (Feb 15).

My buddy Travis and I share a passion for remote-control toys and electronics. Last year we purchased and/or assembled many remote control planes (and crashed a lot too) and I left a standing rule that if he orders any within a reasonable price, order one for me too. Well last Friday I received a message that a new fighter jet plane called the Stryker was in and had to take a couple hours off in the afternoon for a test flight. As I hadn’t flown in a while I was overly cautious and of the 3 jets we flew that day, mine was the only one that isn’t in pieces. We all ordered a bunch of replacement parts and are fortifying the areas we found to be weak so we’ll enjoy many more flights.

Well I just received a call and it looks like we’re going flying this afternoon out at a local park. The weather is near 40 degrees, sunny and no wind so it’s a perfect day for it. I’ll try to get Jamie to come along one day and film us so I can publish some video - you can imagine it’s hard to concentrate on controlling the plane and filming at the same time but who knows, I may get cocky and just try it… Have a great Sunday and I’ll be back online later getting some more work done!
