As far as bluetooth sync, I don't know of any but it may be worth searching for some freeware. I use a mac and there are some cool free widgets/apps out there that sync w/ bluetooth phones to allow you to send SMS from your widget (via your phone), etc. Your need is so common I am sure there is something.

There is a free service for Verizon I know of that syncs your phone nightly w/ online backups. They also have a web admin interface for it and I believe you can import contacts. I'm unsure on true sync though. Hope that helps.

For Verizon: Get It Now > Business Apps > Backup Assistant (follow instructions)

You need to have an online account (free registration) and then they credit your bill so even though it notifies you of some charge like $2.99, you won't be charged. It then backs up your phone nightly and helps if ever lost or replace phone. The online admin does have capabilities to add more contacts in browser and I believe import, then next sync they would be on your phone.
