David Pogue’s Vista vs. Mac Video

December 16th, 2006 by Mike Sparr

If you read the New York Times online, you have to view David Pogue’s video about Windows Vista. It’s hilarious. I have friends in both camps and although I personally switched to Mac OS X with my Mac Minis in the home and Macbook Pro Notebook, my company still has Windows workstations for development and bookkeeping. I played around with Vista earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas and some friends are working with Office and Windows groups in Redmond so I hear the updates, but David Pogue’s video is pretty damn funny.

Visit: http://www.nytimes.com/video/davidpogue and try to find David Pogue’s video on Windows Vista :)

World Business Briefing: Ebay Expands Partnership Venture in China

November 8th, 2006 by REUTERS
The Web company Baidu and Eachnet, the Chinese auction site of eBay, said they had expanded a partnership, in which Baidu will promote PayPal Beibao, the online payments service of eBay in China, and will become the exclusive provider of text-based search advertising on the Eachnet auction site. The alliance expands a partnership that began in 2000 and is intended to shore up eBay’s business in China. The alliance is a challenge to a Chinese auction company, Alibaba.com, a joint venture partner with Yahoo, and another online auction player, Tencent Holdings, which has an agreement with Google.
